some questions about going to a hockey game on Tuesday. here is there rules:

http://www.theaircanadacentre.com/about/atozitem.asp?a_to_z_guide_id=19

NHL: Video cameras are NOT permitted. Non-flash still photography is permitted; however, if the lens is detachable it must not exceed 75mm.

is that the physical size or is that wishfull thinking?

side note, I know I will not get the greatest pics (higher ISO), but I want closer up photos. do you think they will give my any trouble?

I could see this going both ways. It seems like if they were concerned about physical size then they might list the measurement in inches. I also doubt the average security guard would be able to tell the difference between focal lengths from the quick checks that they do. Regardless, I think it would be
difficult to get good results at f/5.6

With the rules around photography that they have in place - they are basically ensuring that you will be able to bring your camera to the match and get completely unusable shots. That may be their aim.

even with my equipment I'm not going to get good shots anyway so why not let me try! lol

they wouldn't take my equipment would they? or kept my 18-55 lens on the cam and have my 50-200 in my pocket?
