Canon makes an update of their highly popular XTi which is called XSi (450D). Major update is a 14bit processor, 12mpx instead of 10, a 3” screen with live view, spot metering, larger viewfinder. They also skip CF and implement an SD.

What you think? To me it looks like a cosmetic update similar to 40D over 30D but it sounds a worthy successor to the already good XTi.

I believe next for the update is 5D, for which I am waiting.

everything that they put in it isn't worthy to me except the SD card part and the viewfinder.

and the redesigned body

XTi here I come ^_^

why would you like SD card? i prefer CF still.

what i find worthy is 14bit, Digic III and larger LCD with live view, plus spot metering. also the bundle includes 18-55IS which is a better lens. so buying a new i would probably take XTi, it sounds like almost a 40D in a compact body, something Canon keeps on doing and this is smart. you should not cut too many edges with a consumer DSLR.
