P.S. that looks like a nice place to live! We are still frozen in a block of snow and ice up here...

Some cute baby shots; keep working at it. Is that the bridge in downtown Greeville, SC?

Keep in mind that often what separates a simple "snapshot" from a nice photo is lighting. For example, your first photo is a pretty scene, but it might be more interesting if shot near sunset/sunrise or perhaps a night shot.

In your last two baby shots, the baby appears a bit out of focus to me. If the baby is moving (and they almost always are when awake!!) try shooting in AI servo and focus on the eye; also, make sure your SS is fast enough to catch the action.

Lastly, some fill flash might help with your first baby shot, due to the strong lighting in the background.

i really like the first baby shot. you might wanna warm it up a bit as i think the white balance is a little off. maybe a bit underexposed too. but a great shot either way.
