So I got rid on my xt and upgraded to a 40d. Figured if I'm getting a new camera I definitely need a new lens. Picked up the 24-70 f/2.8 from a close friend (thanks again for the sweet deal man). I'm pretty stoked to get the new toys. Hopefully now I can turn my hobby into something I can make a decent part time wage from or at the very least help support the hobby.

Anyway here's the before and after.

Not only the 40D, the 24-70 f/2.8 seems to be a killerzoom! A bit odd range on a cropcam, but if it fits your personal purpose... I'm not complaining.
And also a really nice KODAK V603 (found in the exif) :p

I just love this lens. I've used it several times before and love the results I get. So it seems to work for me.

LOL @ the kodak comment. I've had the camera for a little over a year. Got it pretty cheap then too. Seems to work pretty decent for a p&s.

I think you'll love the lens. It is my workhorse and I love it. If you need wider, you might consider the efs 10-22. Both have great IQ.

I hope to get that one. Probably not anytime soon. But eventually.

Does anyone know if AutoFocus works in the Live View mode. I picked the camera up last night and really only got about an hour to play with it. Thanks in advance.
