Recently I went on a picture taking frenzy (atleast for me) and took about 850pictures in 5days especially on one day (terry fox run) when I took 400. This was from the 12th to the 16th. Now I have never dropped this camera, maybe bumped it a little here and there when its in the bag (thats a freebie but suprisingly well padded) but nothing major. I've taken about 8500pics in the 4 months I've owned it.
Now on this monday (the 18th) I switch on my camera , look through the viewfinder and I dont see anything, just blurryness. So I remove the lens and somethings falls into my hand. Basically the focus point glass like thing or whatever it is that is above the shutter had fallen apart...completely...there were about 4-5 pieces that had fallen out. I rushed to the Service centre with the warranty card. Well the person there told me that they can fix it. I hope they can....
Now I know I did go Dust crazy a month or so back but since then I've taken about 2500pictures. All I'm wondering did I do something to it or could it be a fault others have also faced...??
