Question about bit-depth and 16-bit scanners

[Whut]

I am looking for 16-bit flatbed scanners that actually output to true 16-bit. If anyone knows of any scanners that do this please let me know.

Right now I know of three,

Nikon Super CoolScan 5000 Film Scanner

Epson 4870 Flatbed Scanner

Minolta Dual Scan Pro Film Scanner

I am looking at the Fujitsu Snap Scan Fi-5110EOX, nobody at Fujitsu can give me a solid answer as to whether or not this scanner actually outputs to 16-bit color.

Anyone know if it does? Any other suggestions?
