I've got an odd question. My camera (Kodak C763) seems to have been the victim of a soda spill recently, and all the buttons, switches, and lens cover all stick to some degree. I'm curious if there is some way to remove the syrup that is apparently coating my camera. Other than everything sticking (and the lens cover occasionally refusing to open/close automatically), the camera is in perfect working order, so is it even worth it to give it a cleaning, or should I just stick with the stick until I upgrade to a new camera?
Current thought on how to clean it is submersion in distilled water (after removing memory card and battery of course), and then opening the case to air it out.
