40D. Info on LCD as on XTi

I read that it's possible to have the shot info on the LCD, not just the small one on top of the camera. I can't seem to find a way or setting to do this though? Does anyone know?

Just push the "info" button on the back of the camera twice. I think it stays there until you hit "info" again. Not sure if you can use the menus to default to that view.
