Internal memory?

I read that my sony cybershot has an internal memory...and I have seen my friend's have the same one and it can hold over 300 pictures...anyone know how I can do this?

There a lots of different models of Sony, but they usually come with 30-50 meg of internal memory. Unfortunately, that doesn't hold all that many images at full size. If you reduce the resolution of the pictures you take to the smallest settings you can get many more shots on the internal memory, but why bother?

Internal memory is not very useful since it's so small compared to any reasonable memory card. If your friend is storing 300 shots on the internal memory he or she has reduced the resolution setting to make the pictures somewhat useless.
