View Full Version : Big and expensive lenses
How about a $99,000.00 lens?

Or a 200-500 f2.8 lens?

The first commenter on the page is right - That sigma looks like a bazooka. The weight of the Canon is 16.5 kilograms - That's not going to be much fun to carry, even with built in handles.
Edit: Size comparison: http://v.foto.radikal.ru/0703/00610cceadde.jpg
Apparently it comes with it's own heavy-duty tripod. You'd hope so wouldn't you...

The SIGMA is of similar weight ... 553 oz ... or try 34.5 pounds!
I offered an idea of how to mount the thing, last year:

The word was, back then, that this "stealthy" and easily concealed lens would call in at about $12,000.00
Ok, pony up! LOL

Come with it's own tripod? Screw that, it should come with it's own Caddy to carry it around for you.
