I am contemplating the purchase of this camera. It has all the features I ever dreamed of a digicam, save for the minimum shutter speed, which is what I'd like to confirm:
The Kodak website states its minimum shutter speed as 1/2 s, which is a tad absurd I think:
Kodak's site on Z712 (http://www.kodak.com/eknec/PageQuerier.jhtml?pq-path=9/11920/131/10689/10691&pq-locale=en_GB)
However, a number of other sites, including the review on this site, states it as 16 s.
Can anyone advise?
Also: When video recording, if using the optical zoom, is it true the sound of the focussing motor will blot out whatever other sound present during the shooting? Anyone has a sample video taken while utilising the optical zoom?
TIA
