What’s the fastest and most reliable SD card on the market?

I've never heard of an SD card failing from any manufacturer, so for reliability it probably doesn't matter. This is pretty much the case for other flash card formats as well.

For Speed:

The current speed champ for buffer to flash card (SD) transfer is the Canon 1Ds Mk II using an Extreme III card at around 8MB/sec. 80X = 12MB/sec.
