Best Compact, 5.0 MP or more, INPUT PLEASE!

What do you guys think is the best compact camera with 5.0 MP or more?

There is no best camera, some good cameras in their respective areas. You'll need to say what you plan to do with it, under what conditions you'll do it and what you expect it to be able to do.

something good in the dark as well. macro is nice as well, if posible.

Sony cameras tend to do well in low light situation.

There is the W1 and V1 which could be interesting for you to look at. I'm not sure about their macro mode, but its surely VERY acceptable.

How is the picture and color quality on the sony one?

Sony camera's suck in low light, their lens diameter is too small to allow for sufficient light to pass into the camera. I paid $450 for my Sony Cyber-shot and it take lousier pictures than my brothers A75 that was $175 in low light.
