Any tips for viewing in low light - fz20

I love my new camera but need some help on viewing in low light.. Do I need to carry a flashlight or make an external viewer like used in underwater cameras

I carry a small flashlight, go to your local hardware store and get a small, water proof flash light that looks durable!

60mm - so you hold the flashlight on the subject with one hand and set the frame/composition/focus/apeture and shutter with the camera in the other??? Panasonic are you listening? - give us a viewfinder gain up feature! :( (sorry - morning rant.) :D
