Canon FPS on A720

Hi,

Just wondering if you get a high speed SD card and lower the resolution, will you get faster FPS on multiburst??

Ive gone from the A540 which had like over 2fps to the A720 which i think states it can only do 1.3fps/

Quite dissapointed with the decrease in fps, dont understand why a newer model would/could go backwards in an area like this!

As I said in the other thread it's almost entirely based on image size. The larger the MP of the camera, the slower the burst rate. Assuming you have a 60x or Class 4 memory card, you can't get any faster then what you have. Lowering the resolution won't help since the camera still has to get the full image off the sensor before creating the smaller image size.
