What is Mx250?

i used to know what this meant when i shot Film i am drawing a mind blank on what this means.

on manual mode when you have Mx250 ?

also when doing star trails is there an alternative to holding down the shutter button the whole time? that seems counter-productive. thanks guys

If you have the remote, you can do BULB exposures up to 30 minutes. You click the remote to open the shutter, then click it again to close it (or it closes by itself after 30 mins.) If you don't have the remote, you can use a rubber band to hold down the shutter (but it's less convenient lol)
