I've noticed that my continuous shooting mode is much slower than the advertised "up to 3fps".
I spent an afternoon timing my continuous shooting mode and I was only able to shoot at about 1.5 shots a second which is just about half the speed quoted in the DCRP d70s review (2.9 fps) (http://www.dcresource.com/reviews/nikon/d70s-review/index.shtml). I tested in both Aperture & Shutter modes using a 1/6400 or 1/8000 as my shutter speed and I used a variety of ISO settings.
I use a San Disk Extreme III 2 gb card so I don't think card speed should be an issue. I shot with either a 50mm 1.8 or a 18-200mm VR.
Is there something I'm missing because I'd love to shoot at 3 fps? Any comments would be greatly appreciated. :)
