Getting photos off A720

Hi all,

Ive got my newly acquired A720 and been reasonably happy with its performance.

however when i am trying to get the photos from the camera i am having a bit of difficutly. With my old A540 I used to be able to plug it in usb and then my camera would appear as a drive along with my other hard drives. This made it easy to get the photos, didnt have to go through any software or anything.

I cannot get this option with my A720 and am not sure how to get it like that, does anyone know how to get the camera to be plug and play and act like a usb drive?

Going through software is cumbersome and slow!!

Why don't try a card reader?they are getting cheaper now!!

You should still be able to do that, so there must be something else going on. Try plugging the camera into the rear of the computer. It's possible your front ports aren't good for USB 2.0.
