Ever heard the saying "You get what you pay for"?
It's a cheap and cheerful simple Chinese made tripod designed for light weight point and shoot style cameras owned by people who usually know no better.
That does not mean that it will not do what you want it to do.
If your requirements are fairly basic and you will not be using large lenses then it will probably work well for you for a period at least. If you want high quality macro images or very long exposures using expensive glass you could do much better with something else.

I think this might be a good one. It is a lot more expensive though.

Bogen/Manfrotto is a much more reputable make than Sunpac. This tabletop tripod can carry about 2kg, which is pretty good for a tabletop tripod.
The one I use myself falls over when I use the Sigma 10-20 :).

Of course, it is not as good as a more traditional tripod, but then, it is also much more portable.
