Fuji V10 Help Needed Please!!

About a month ago my mom and I were shopping at Wal-Mart when I saw the Fuji V10 on clearance for $110 normally $248. I convinced my mom to get it for me for Christmas since I wanted a new camera for Christmas anyways, and this was a good deal. Well, I opened it and the screen was just fuzzy, like a static TV (. When I put my hand in front of the lens it didnt get darker or anything, just the same fuzziness.) I tried charging the battery more, but today, still the fuzziness. I was convinced the camera was broken until I messed with all the settings and somehow changed the fuzzy screen to a pure white screen. So now im not so sure if its broken or just on a wrong setting. I have been messing with it for hours and cant figure it out. Does anyone have this camera that can help me out?

If you can't immediately get to the menu return the unit for another, it's definitely faulty. The first thing that should pop up when powering on a new fuji is the set date/time screen.

Sounds like you may have gotten a bad one..return it if you can..
