Hello everyone,
I just wanted to stop in and wish everyone a Happy New Year! I hope 2008 brings everyone peace, happiness, and good health. I look forward to seeing everything that people shoot this year because there were a lot of great shots in 2007.
As the thread title says, we've had a year to shoot so let's see what happened in 2007. Please post what you consider your best shot from 2007. It doesn't have to be the best technically or anything like that but rather the shot that means the most to you or that you enjoyed shooting the most.

For me, even though I love landscapes and sunsets, it's all about family. This has to be my favorite shot from 2007. It's a shot of my son and my grandson.

Happy New Year to you Paul. And Happy New Year to all fellow members of DCRP.

It will be so hard to choose the best from 2007. So I post one of my boy with a theme. I'm not sure what title to give it yet but last spring (now it's still summer) after a long winter I thought that my boy would like to play outside under the sun for a change. The night before the day this photo was taken, I charged up the remote controlled car and made sure and controller battery was fresh.

The day came with lot of sunshine but he decided to play with his little rake and left the RC car only after about 5 minutes. Such is life. How often do you worry unnecessary about your children? Only to have them happily doing things their own ways.

Here's one of the last shots I took with my old Fuji S5000. I took this sometime over the summer. The picture is pretty noisy, but I still like it.

I like it too. I still have to try lightning shot yet. 2 seconds must be on tripod right?

Yep, that was with a tripod. 2 seconds was the max shutter length on the S5000. I would have set it longer if I could have.
