Help with superfast flash on compact camera

Hello, I am hoping someone here can point me in the right direction or tell me that what I want doesn't exist. I have a Canon S50, which was too slow for me. I recently bought a Sony DSC-W1, which is fast with as great start time, but it takes too long to recharge the flash.

Are there any compact cameras similar in size to the S50 or W1 that have a very fast flash and are at least 5 megapixels?

If not, anything a little bigger, but not as big or heavy as an SLR?
