Jessops price match on Nikon 18-200mm VR

I just bought a D80 plus 18-200mm VR today, and am very VERY chuffed :) :)

If anyone in the UK reading this lives in the south-west you may be interested to know that Jessops in Bristol (centre or The Mall at Cribbs) will price match www.bristolcameras.co.uk price for the lens... which means I got mine for £429!

Just take a print-out of the Bristol Cameras web page showing the price with you and they will match it.

Oh and Jessops is also selling the D80 body for just below £500 which is quite nice for a high-street store (and don't forget the £50 cashback on top..)

The main advantage here (apart from the price!) is that of course Jessops have branches across the UK so if you have any problems you can go into any of them.

The D80 appears to be being heavily discounted all around the world at present. Here they are giving Aus$300 cash back.
It's another sign that it's time is up as far as Nikon as concerned.
