I don't know if there's something wrong with my sd300 or just my settings
I took some new years eve photos and some of them appeared to have bubbles , circular objects, on the photos, it varies in position from picture to picture, dunno whats wrong here

Were you using flash? If so, then most likely there was particulate matter floating in the air, such as smoke or dust. These relect the flash back into the camera, but is out of focus.....

sometimes it's large dust particles (sometimes lint) or tiny water droplets on your lens as well, but most likely it's particles in the air very close to the lens that get lit up by the flash, like Phil said.

so what do you advise when taking pictures in a dusty or smoky area during nights?

zoom in on your image, the camera doesnt pick up so much on the dust then
