View Full Version : Outgrowing my Pelican case

The 1300 I have now is going to be JUST big enough to hold my D40, 18-55, 55-200, and cards and filters. Issue with that of course is that I am looking to buy more gear, at least a 50mm prime and a sb-26/sb-600. I dont see myself getting much more gear than that other than maybe another flash or a different body later on, so I wanted to see what your recommendations would be for a bag to store/carry most of this when needed. Maybe preferably a Lowepro bag being I have a gift card for best buy. Any suggestions?

Yeah right! :)
Go and stand in front of your family and say, "I have a serious case of NAS, I know I have a serious case of NAS, please accept me for what I am and from now on only give me birthday, Christmas or anniversary presents that relate to Nikon. There is no known cure for my NAS".

I love pelican cases. I have one for the surefire flashlights I have, Rifles, some computer stuff, cameras, ammo, ect.

Just get another one or a bigger one

LOL...Ya, you are probably right. Man, this hobby is addicting, even more so when more gear tends to help me produce better pictures. Nothing like those high dollar basket ball shoes I used to buy...those dagum things never made me jump any higher or run any faster.

Thats an option too, maybe just keep the 1300 for when Im traveling via plane and dont want all my equipment with me.

Have you looked at the lowe pro slingshot bags?

My wonderful girlfriend bought me the SlingShot 200 AW for christmas. Anyone esle used these types of bag?
