Hi all. Noob here.
I've been trying to take indoor photos with our Olympus C-50 since we've had it (3 years) with no luck. I've been shooting on auto mode with the below results. I've heard that increasing the ISO to the max (320 in my case) might help. Any suggestions is appreciated.

Can't tell for sure, but it looks like you're underpowered in the flash department. Your lens is out to the maximum zoom, which means you're some distance from the kids, and the flash just doesn't have enough oomph to reach out that far. The flashes on little cameras like the c-50 are really meant for distances out to about 10 feet only. The C-50 is ancient (five years) in terms of digital technology, and there are many better choices available today, both from Olympus and other manufacturers.

~You could try selecting 'Flash off' and also selecting Tungsten for the White balance.
Depending on how much light there is this may give a more natural look to the scene - this is, of course, directly related to the sample given.
You have the oprtion of Tungsten or Fluorescent for indoor lighting
(outside there is also Daylight or Overcast besides Auto WB)
Good luck - don't give up hope
