Dimage Z10 problem

I want to email clips that I take on my camera but they come in MOV files and no one can seem to open them. So I downloaded a program to covert to AVI files but they make them super huge. Does anyone know how to convert the clips from a MOV file to either a WMV or an AVI file without making them super huge?

MOV files are viewed in Quicktime, which is a free download.

I'm currently trying out with my new Z10 (hurrah) a program called Avid Free DV, from www.avid.com. It's a 40mb download, tutorials 60mb (very necessary), and you need at least 512mb ram to run it (pref 1gb), but it looks comprehensive. You can import movs and convert to avis and vice versa, and specifiy quality, etc.

But I wouldn't send a video clip by email - they're always going to be pretty huge.
