Here are a couple of shots of a young blackbuck antelope buck that lives on my deer lease. Blackbucks are native to India but do extremely well in Texas. Many high fence ranches have populations of blackbucks.

This young guy, a mature buck and two does came off a high fence ranch adjacent to ours when the high fence was damaged in a storm. I didn't get any photos of the mature buck, as he was out about 300 yards from my blind on the afternoon these photos were taken.

Our rancher likes having them around, so we leave them alone. Otherwise, the mature buck's head would be at the taxidermist and the rest of him would have gone in the smoker the first day of the season. I see these boys almost every day I hunt.

In the top photo, you can see several whitetail does in the background along the fenceline.
