Hi there.
I currently own a Canon A80 which has always performed well for me. The only thing that I find it lacks is better video capturing, and I'd also like something that is more compact. I did my research and went and purchased the SD1000, but after comparing pictures I found that my A80 had sharper and better quality pictures then the SD1000 (I figured it's been 4 years since they made the A80 that the smaller camera's would have the same quality by now). The SD1000's pictures were actually very soft/warm in comparison (although it took great video) and I am now wanting to return it. Basically, I have a Nikon D70 and I was looking for something smaller to compliment it (something that could fit in my pocket preferably). The things I'm looking for are:
- Preferably compact
- Image quality that is as sharp and as good as my A80
- IS would be nice to have
- 3x zoom or better
- Good video recording (like the SD1000 has)
