Hoping someone on this Forum can give me some desperately needed info. I have a venerable but quite serviceable Fuji MX-2900 2.3 MegaPixel Camera - which takes SM (smartmedia) cards - and I need to get one or more new cards for it. When it first came out, back in 1999, the max size SM Card available was 32Mb!!!! What I would like to know is - will my MX-2900 accept/use a slightly larger card size - say, a 64mb SM card?

Thanxxx for the info!
Miguel

I had a 2900 and think I used a 128mb card in it. Dont think there was a larger Smartmedia card made but I may be wrong. Nice camera but didn't like the electronic viewfinder.

2900 manual here...

Although I haven't used it since 2003 (I've since upgraded several times), I have a MX-2900 and several 128mb SM cards.

The MX-2900 doesn't have any problems using the 128mb cards ... although the batteries for this camera can drain so fast that you'll likely need to change or charge the battery before you can fill a single 128mb card with images.
