High Speed xf card with S700

Can you use a "H" xf card with the S700? Is there any significant difference? The manual says to use the "M". Steve recommends the "H" in his review. However; in the FAQ he seems to recommend against. Am I misreading this? Any opinions?

I've had an S700 (S5700) for 6 months now and used a 1GB H xD card for most of that time. It worked fine on stills and movies. I'm now using a standard (inexpensive) Sandisk 1GB SD card and it works fine too. Maybe just a little faster when downloading pics to the computer. I haven't tried an xD M in the S700. I believe the M type card needs reformatting sometimes if you just regularly delete pics on the camera as there is a loss of space. The H card doesn't have this problem.
