I love my SD700IS and get great results. Have had 2 years and took 20gig pictures in Europe.
I bought an SD950IS so my wife and I could both have a camera for a long trip. I love panoramas but all the pans had vertical lines when stitching only with the 950. I tried all different settings, earlier software from the SD700 and even Photoshop elements. All without success.
I went back to the store and tried a new SD950IS and I get the same problem I am ready to turn it back and take the restocking hit.
I think this is a design problem. I look at the deeper recess of the lens relative to the 700 and maybe it is shaddowing the edges of the picture. I am not an engineer just frustration driven.
I took 20 gig worth of pics in Asia so I have tried everything. Very disappointed as a Canon fan for 20+years. Any advice?
