My wife likes the idea of a simple point and shoot cam with wide angle (28mm) for family group shots. The Fuji F480 has this and is cheap. Has anyone got one or even tried one? Can't find a review anywhere.
Thanks

Even tho' it's a fairly new model, it looks like no-one out there has bought or even tried one which maybe saying something about it.

Went into a local Oz discount electronics store to play with an F480 and the attendant found one new Fuji F20 for $50 less than the F480! It's widest angle is 36mm but this is OK. The camera seems better in nearly every other respect. Hooray for the Super CCD - if only the 480 had one!
Low light shooting here we come! :)

I don't think many people here has A480. The reason being that not many people who own an entry level camera hang around and give people advice in here. Likewise, members in these forums take more interest in photography and normally don't own entry level cameras unless for the kids maybe.

With F20, you will have to sacrifice 28 mm but hey.... it leave others in the dust when the light is low. It can shoot to ISO1600 and its image quality is cleaner than other PnS (except other Fuji's of course). Congratulations on your find.
