Pentax Optio Z10 (Digital Shake reduction vs OIS

I just bought this camera and find something called Digital Shake Reduction, which appears to be in lieu of OIS. Does anyone here have experience with this feature? I'll be trying it in the next few days and will try to post pics and comments. Floyd a newbie

I believe digital shake reduction just pushes the ISO higher to make for a faster shutter speed. It's vastly inferior to Optical Image Stabilization. You can do that by yourself on any camera; but at the cost of noisy images.
