I havenīt tried the manual settings yet so as of now Iīve been using the automatic settings. When shooting concert photos in low light without flash, I noticed that if I set the auto setting to "indoor" I get a nice color with lots of light but the picture is always blurred. If I put the setting on full auto, it doesnīt get blurred but the picture is always dark. How can I get the best of both? Would it be better to put the setting on kids and pets so that I wonīt get any blurred pictures? Thanks

I think the A570 IS has got manual controls.......am not sure,if there is such an option available use them rather than preset scene modes, move the dial to Av or program mode and raise your ISO from default, try using higher Iso's if that doesn't work try to find an auto ISO button and use it.Since you are shooting in low light without flash the results will be grainy picture....expect no big prints:)

Yes, the A570 has full manual controls.
Set the ISO to 200 or possibly 400, open the aperture as much as possible and take lots of photos in burst mode. A few will turn out sharp.
