FinePix 3800 Lens Ring

The Lens Ring on my camera came off by itself ( I guess the three screws worked their way loose). The catcher is the screws screw in from the inside. Has anyone split the body on this camera? I am a copier tech so I am not afraid of electronics. I just would like a heads-up on any obsticles.

I too have had the "Len Ring" come off for no apparent reason. Now I don't know what to do to get it back on. If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciate it.
