I've been looking for a more "serious" camera lately and thought I had narrowed it down to the Fuji s6000fd or maybe the Canon s5 if I found a great deal on it. Yesterday, however, I came across the Sony H3 and was a little intrigued. Since this site didn't have a review I went to the image comparison tool at imaging-resource.com. Wow. The H3 beats the Canon s5 from iso 200 all the way to 3200. The photos are sharper, have more detail and less noise. The s6000fd beats the Sony H3 but not by a lot which was also surprising.

Does anyone have any strong feelings either way about the H3? For me, image quality and low light/indoor shooting are most important. If anyone has any sample photos to share that would be wonderful. Thanks.

I'd been looking at the H3 too. More undecided now than ever... LOL - but here's a thread I'd asked about a few cameras I had been considering, the H3 being one of them... it's a start anyway :) I've always loved Sony's picture quality.
