hi there,
just a quick question, i am buying some camera equipment from B&H in the US, i have bought all my camera equipment i have ever had from there as i used to live in canada, i now live in Australia and have never bought from the US from here. i have attached the 3 options they offer, and UPS is the cheapest, but i remember horror stories in canada where they end up charging brokerage fees that end up making it really expensive. can anyone comment on which service they have used and what charges they experienced with it?

For UPS, any orders totalling less than AUD1k will pass through no problem without any extra fees.

Once you reach AUD1k however you may be hit for GST and other clearance fees (usually around AUD60) before your goods will be released.

For smallish order I usualy elect to use USPS Mail. Seems to be the quickest/easiest.
