SD Memory card in S6500fd?

Is there any reason why I should choose a XD over a SD card? We have a rewards program here in New Zealand called Fly Buys and I am able to get one of the following cards for free:

- Toshiba SD 1GB
- Kodak SD 1GB
- Lexar SD 1GB

I presume these cards dont perform as fast as the Type H XD's?

Would anyone recommend NOT to get any of the above cards for my camera?

hang on, I dont think the S6500fd (s6500fd) uses anything other than XD???

yep, only xd cards, so that is the reason why you should choose them
