Interchangable Batteries??

About a two years ago I purchased the SD450, which came with a NB-4L battery. I'm looking into purchasing another SD model, and I'm aware at SD1000 offers the same battery, but I was curios about the SD850 IS and such, this camera has the NB-5L battery, and I'm curios...

Can the NB-4L and NB-5L be used interchangably (meaning, if I bought the SD850 IS, could I still use my NB-4L?)

The SD 850 uses NB-5L.

No, the NB-4L and NB-5L are not compatable.
