S2 IS stoped working

I pulled it out the other day to use it and all I see is a black screen. I can take picutres but all it shows is black. When I go to review I see picutes I took a week ago. What happend is the CCD dead?

Now my question is what should I do? Should I get an S3, S5, or save for the Nikon D40? I'm stuck using my backup camera, the good old A75.
