FZ50 - Slow focus during video

Hi guys, this is my first thread here, hehe. Anyway, i noticed there are many FZ50 users here and thought someone can help me out. I notice focussing for videos after zooming is very slow. This is annoying and too noticeable. Is there a way i can solve this problem? I noticed this doesnt happen on my friends Canon S2 while zooming during videos. Any help, even explanations will be helpful. Thank you! :)
