Last week, while changing batteries on my FZ15, it suddenly stopped working. I was in a hurry to head out the door with my camera when I remembered that the battery in the camera was low the last time I used the it. So I hurriedly switched batteries. A quick on/off, and then I switched batteries. It seemed as if the lens was slow to retract back into the body once I replaced the battery. I tried to turn the camera back on and nothing. Is there a hard reset button somewhere? I can find nothing in the manual regarding this. Both battery packs are fully charged, so I know that dead batteries aren't the issue. Any advice anyone can give me would be appreciated. I love my camera and have become pretty good with it. I don't want to ship it off for service. Thanks!

There are 2 fuses inside the FZ10/20/ 15.......one of them most likely blew.....now what caused that is anyones guess........but it most likely is cheaper to buy a new camera as to send it to Panasonic.....
but here is a thread I just replied to that may have a couple links that may help you.........or a local camera repair shope may be able to help, but that sort of thing is getting hard to find.

Here is a guide to how to dissasemble a FZ10 ....should be the same as a FZ20.

And here is the service manual.......the download link is near the bottom of the page , it does work I just downloaded it.

But if they removed the lens I think your done.
All FZ cameras will use the lens you have aquired ....its just you will need a different adapter for some of them........any that are 55mm will screw right onto a FZ50.
