I bought an f31fd several months ago. My first digital camera! And I like to take it everywhere. It usually floats around naked in my purse/tote, and it's getting a little dirty and banged up!

One idea is to felt this wool sweater I got a Goodwill that is too small and make a camera case out of it. Any thoughts?

What do you keep your Fuji in?

Camera cases come in all shapes, sizes and colours. They aren't expensive either. Just go to local camera store and find one that best fits.

I use this for my SD800, but I don't see any for the Fuji F31. I love mine, the camera goes in on hipbelt pocket for hiking, and a chest pocket for skiing, so in a purse would be easy.

Since there may not be one for your camera, any small case will do. I use to use a LowePro case for my older SD300.

My wife uses a silicon case (http://pdaden.com/shop/catalog/product_18160_Silicone_Jacket_for_FujiFilm_FinePix _F30_with_unbreakable_screen_cover_cat_421.html) for her F30. It's form fitting but it should work for the F31fd. This is a nice option since you don't have to take it off to use the camera. Please, whatever you do don't use a fabric like wool, it will generate static electricity and there is a computer in there ya know so that's not a good option.

I'd suggest throwing it in a ziplock bag. It'd keep dust out, and doesn't take up any space.

I have several friends who have smaller cameras and they use the Vera Bradley "coin purse" for camera transportation....it's stylish, slightly quilted, reasonably priced and perfect to toss in your purse. Good Luck!
