I have a DSC-V3 on which the power on-off button suddenly ceased operating. The battery is full, the terminals clean, but the only way I can power on is to connect to the mains through the battery charger. I'm not near any Sony service facilities and I need to use the camera for location shots. Any ideas of how I might be able to fix this problem myself?
