I was just thinking about Steve Fossett and realised I had heard no news about him since he vanished.
They're still searching for him with a privately funded search. It would be nice that people still remember him and still remember to look. His plane had a range of 563 miles total so with a fair wind he could be up to 600 miles from base.
So... if you're within 600 miles of his ranch, keep your eyes open for him or his plane. Even if he's dead (which is very likely) then at least finding his body will bring closure to his family.
