I have a Canon 220EX speedlight that I used with my Canon digital SLR which I no longer own. I now have a Lumix FZ30 and would like to use the flash. The flash has the proper voltage, the camera senses it, and it flashes when the shutter release is pressed. However, there doesn't seem to be any exposure control. Anyone know how I can use this flash with my FZ30?

Since the flash has no adjustments, the only thing I think you can do is shoot in manual mode and adjust the aperture....as adjusting the SS has very little to do with exposure as the flash is so brief.

Thanks, Gene. That's sort of what I figured but I was hoping someone would come up with a brilliant idea.
