Based on recommendations from several friends and family, my husband and I are considering purchasing this Sony CyberShot camera. My only concern is regarding the touchscreen feature. Does anyone have any idea if the touchscreens "wear out" quickly or what you can do to protect them? Thanks in advance!

Last week I bought a Sony DSC-T200 in Japan. The touch screen it's amazing! I bought a lcd screen protector (an adhesive film), and it's all! :)

Thanks so much for your reply and for the link. What do you think of the camera so far? Is the extra $100 worth it to get the T200 vs the T70?

Thanks again!

I just purchased the Sony T70 camera from Best Buy. It's a great camera. I found a cheaper price online on SamsClub.com, and had Best Buy match it.

Two weeks ago I bought the Kodak M883. It was a very well built camera, but the pictures were terrible. My 3 year old Kodak DX4530, which is a 5MP camera took better pictures than the new M883 did.

You'll like the T70. The touchscreen is nice. Less moving parts to break.
