I bought a Kodak Z712IS this summer and I must say, I love it!. But once the Kodak battery ran out, I tried using my 2500MaH Energizers, fully charged, and as soon as I put them in its giving me a low battery indicator. And it seems like I have to put them backwards according to the picture for it to come on. Im assuming thats jus b/c of the type of battery the Kodak is. Any ideas on my problem? TIA I tried the Search, but to no avail.

Try other batteries like CR3V-Rechargable (different marks) or buy the expensive Klic-8000 original rechargable Kodak or (better and cheaper) equivalents other marks. I recomended you BestBattery.com
I always recomended rechargable batteries but for this camera, the one you for CR3V dont work for the Klic8000 or similar because the batteries has different design.
