sony dsc-p51 problems error code?

I got sand in the cam while out on the beach yesterday. I have an error message and the screen will not show real time image. I can see what is on the m- card but taking new pics does not work. It will come back as black. The error code is E 61:10. This happend when I opened the cam to clean sand out and then this code appeared. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
